Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant also had good games as Bryant gained 178 yards and scored a touchdown on six receptions and Brown added another 139 yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches. Pittsburgh has been gaining 258.8 yards per game on average in the air, which ranks 13th in the league. The Steelers have also been playing well defensively as of late. They’ve allowed just 19.1 points per outing which is fifth-lowest in the NFL and will be facing a Seahawks side which has struggled this campaign by scoring an average of 22.8 points per outing.

Pittsburgh plays a more aggressive style of defense this year and has recorded 28 sacks in their 10 games, which ranks as fourth best. They had 33 sacks last season to rank 26th. The Steelers enter the game with a 2-1-1 mark against the spread so far this year.

The Seahawks bounced back with a win last Sunday over San Francisco after being downed 39-32 by Arizona in their previous outing. It was a big triumph since it put them back to .500 on the year. Running back Thomas Rawls led the way offensively by running for 209 yards, which ranks second all time in a single game in the club’s history. He replaced Marshawn Lynch in the starting lineup and also chipped in with a pair of touchdowns. Rawls is now just the third Seattle running back to crack the 200-yard mark in a game. The only player to do better than Rawls was Shaun Alexander when he rushed for 266 yards in 2001. Rawls will be facing a tough task this weekend though since the Steelers’ defensive line is ranked sixth-best in the league by conceding 93 yards against on the ground per game.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 24 of his 29 pass attempts last week for 260 yards and threw three touchdown passes. His passer rating was an impressive 138.5 and he’ll be up against a Steelers’ secondary which concedes 278.4 yards against per outing in the air, which is the fifth-worst mark in the league. Seattle enters the contest at 2-3 against the spread in their home outings this season and this looks to be a close encounter.
