Giants vs Cowboys – A Focus on the NY Giants:

  • Team record: 6-10 SU,8-7-1 ATS
  • Current Streak: lost 3 straight games
  • NY Giants is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games
  • NY Giants is 1-6 SU in its last 7 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of NY Giants’s last 5 games

The Giants were a disappointing 6-10 last season. Their defense was largely to blame, giving up the most yards in the league. That’s where they focused their offseason efforts with the additions of Janoris Jenkins, Damon Harrison and Eli Apple. The offense is still intact with Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr., who’s one of the top receivers in the league. Rookie head coach Ben McAdoo, who replaced long-time HC Tom Coughlin, is hoping to get the Giants back on track this season.

Giants vs Cowboys – A Focus on the Cowboys:

  • Team record: 4-12 SU,4-11-1 ATS
  • Current Streak: lost 4 straight games
  • Dallas is 1-4-1 ATS in its last 6 games
  • Dallas is 2-12 SU in its last 14 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Dallas’s last 5 games

The Cowboys went 4-12 last season and go into the new season with a rookie quarterback at the controls. It wasn’t meant to be this way; Dak Prescott was drafted late in the fourth round as a compensatory pick, and moved up the depth chart following injuries to back-up Kellen Moore (leg) and starter Tony Romo (back). Veteran Mark Sanchez joined the team on Saturday after he was cut by the Denver Broncos, but Prescott remains the starter for now. Another rookie, Ezekiel Elliott, will line up behind him at running back. The Cowboys still have a tremendous offensive line, but it’ll have to survive without Romo, which they struggled with last season.

Next up:

  • New York home to New Orleans Sunday, September 18
  • Dallas at Washington Sunday, September 18
